"I had been preparing for my Grade 2 piano exam and was struggling with voice notes pitching. Corinne, who was not my piano teacher at the time spent an hour of her valuable time kindly to help me just before my exam to do better in vocal part of my exam. She taught me a technique that worked for me. It's like you have a big task that's broken down to bite-size manageable pieces."

3 EASY Steps To Singing In Tune
Singing In Tune seems as easy to some people as breathing so when a music student finds they struggle to pitch notes with their voice accurately, it becomes a problem that creates tension and a sense of failure. They perceive themselves to be 'tone deaf' and decide that it is impossible for them to sing. And so, it becomes a hurdle that is never tackled.

The reality is far from this self perpetuating myth, however. It is simply a matter of awakening and then connecting the internal vocal mechanics. This sounds rather airy-fairy but it isn't. We don't think of our sense of touch as being an internal sense (as in feeling what's going on inside) - but it absolutely is - and that is what my method, The VoiceCircuit Method, ignites.

There are three main learning steps and each step is taught as guided videos. They are each less than 15 minutes long.
Students will learn to
-
awaken their natural pitch range and listen in
-
relax and feel the muscles at work
-
use only the necessary muscles
-
feel the resonances of different pitches to help locate a vocalised pitch
-
vocalise a given pitch
Is This Course For You?
"My teen loves music. He/she is motivated to learn. We know that practical music exams require some singing to demonstrate musicality but pitching is something he/she struggles with and is shy about singing, especially in front of people. My child is keen to ignite the ability to sing in tune. I am happy to sign up to the platform with my child's real name for the course completion certificate that will be awarded. I understand that siblings will need to sign up separately with a different email address. To use the resources needed for this course, I know that my child will need a large screen such as a computer and a small touch screen as well. The household devices run well with my internet connection."
"Some of my students would benefit from a course like this. We dread learning the aural skills required for exams and there is precious little time to get to grips with it. To be able to ignite this ability will mean less anxiety when these particular students are asked to sing. It also mean a likely boost to their overall pass mark. I can ask parents to sign their child up as a user with a simple password that is special to the child. I will ensure that they understand the need to sign up with their child's own name for certification purposes. I know that I can sign up to the platform for free access to some of the course content to view and print the structure for my own planning purposes. In this way I can easily set tasks without any time impact on our lessons. I have a tablet or a smartphone which runs well with my broadband connection."
"I love music but hate singing. I can't sing in tune and really dislike the music exams where I have to sing back a tune to the examiner. I know that improving these skills may make a big difference to my overall exam mark. This sounds like the thing that will help me do that more easily. To get the most from my learning, I would like to feel more confident about singing the right notes. I know I will need to apply and practice the concepts outside the course. If I am below the age of 18, I will be sure to have permission from a responsible adult in my life before signing up. I understand that I will need to sign up with my proper name, as I would like to see my real name on my certificates. I know I need a large screen and a smaller one in order to use the resources for this course. They work well with my household's internet connection. I understand that I should test my connection with the preview content after signing up and before purchasing the course."
